Plaid shirts are not in. Jeggings are not in. Try chic stuff. Like flowy tops, lacey stuff, soft colors, not to crazy styles, cardigans, denim vests, floral dress, floral things, vans, converse, toms, and flare jeans are in. Also get lots of scarfs and accesories. They are in for this Fall!

My question is on more formal attire. My husband and I are attending a “black tie event” where he is wearing a tuxedo and I’m wearing a floor length evening gown with spaghetti straps with a slit up the back. My question is on shoes & hosiery. Its winter time and there could be snow on the ground, should I wear hose and pumps? If so, what color hose? The dress is sequence mainly black with silver shimmers running through it. Or should I not wear hose, and go with more of an open toed shoe, like a sandal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I agree with the must haves: something red, shoulder bag, and shoes with laces! They really add in that ‘fall look’ that you totally need.
