DG Dolce Gabbana Spring-Summer 2010 Collection
The Italian designer partners, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented their last collection destined for next year spring and summer seasons. This took place on September 23 through 30 during the Fashion’s week in Milano.
Latino is the fundamental theme which characterizes this new collection. For the two designers, Latino means: Sicilia, South America, sandglass shapes, sensuality and romantism. The muses who served as inspiration in producing this new collection were the well known models: Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington, as well as the famous singer Madonna.

The collection is dominated by contrasts. A first contrast being the male-female one, in between the masculine costume which takes our minds to toreadors and body assortment, and then the corset, and the latin curved lingerie, which portray femininity and sensuality. There is also a contrast in between patterns: the flowery, romantic ones and the wild, provoking ones.
The fundamental assortment is body-black, which is also on the brand symbol of Dolce & Gabbana, and is present in many outfits within the collection. On top of the body-black there are layers of black and white laces. The assortment as well as the layers of materials vibe sensuality and a mysterious aspect.
