Lady Gaga shocks, fascinates and arouses controversy. We cannot call her the most stylish woman alive, but she certainly knows all the trends that are in and out and she plays with ease with fashion. Born on March 28, 1986, as the oldest child of American-Italian parents, Joanne Stefani Germanotta Angelina does not sound like diva “power pop” that she is now.
She was called “Lady Gaga” by the song “Radio Ga Ga” of Queen. That was her song entry (instead of saying “Hello”, Stefani would have to play “Radio Ga Ga”). She is not a natural blonde. She oxygenated and dyed her hair after she was accidentally called Amy Winehouse. Nowadays, she is often compared with Madonna and Christina Aguilera but her unique style is totally unmistakable.

Lady Gaga emphasizes that fashion is the love of her life (“I’m very in love with fashion,” she says). Her style has been extensively commented and is a clear sign that people either admire or hate it. U.S. Magazine has named her the worst dressed star of the year, but apparently she was not affected by these critics and did not let it bother her. Famous fashion consultant, Stacy London says she simply does not understand the style of Lady Gaga.

Understood or not, Lady Gaga continues her career and continues to shock everyone with her extremely extravagant appearances. When you say Lady Gaga, you certainly say extravagance and she never denies it.
