The women are equally eligible to for a curvy figure and then an admirable abdomen. It is a good idea to ponder if their means of attaining this feat is a safe one.
Women should be precautious while striving for abs. There are a number of reasons for which women has to be cautious.
Health is an asset in itself. Deterioration of health leads to several crises that takes one’s fruitful years from life. It is a heavy cost that one has to pay for ill health. A strict exercise regimen aimed at ripping the abs is worth, but not without some undesirable effects.
Trimming the abs changes the hormone composition of the body. This is abnormal for the body. Hormones play a very important role in the bodily functions. Fat content in the body gets exhausted by subjecting oneself to excessively strict exercise schedule. It is the complete absence of fat content in the body that causes change in the hormonal structure. It is not at all good for the system. Thus the fitness goal is not a positive prospect as far as the women folk is considered. The strict exercise schedule makes it not the best option to follow.
The sole aim of attaining the desired figure disorients the individual from other things in life. Everything in life comes after the aim of trimming the six pack abs. The strife for the abs affects the self-confidence of the person. Besides, the focus of the person completely shifts leaving her for no time for other aspects of life. Ultimately, life is not only about doing exercise.
A flat abdomen demands for less than 18% of fat deposition in the body. Some even go for less than 12%. This extremely low level of fat can upset the sex hormones in the body. The strict exercise routine leading to the low level of fat leads to a condition called amenorrhea. In this condition, the menstrual cycle comes to halt which has the negative impacts including stress fractures, pliable bones and most importantly, impotency. Conception is hard for women with lower levels of fat in the body. Evening the tummy is therefore not without adverse health effects.
The other effect mostly pertains to the psyche of women. The anxiety that comes along with the struggle for a better appearance is detrimental to the mind. Women end up with low self-esteem and other eating-related maladies.
Thus the strife for the perfect abs is more of negative than positive. It affects both the physical health and the mental health of the individual.
Women are greatly preoccupied with their own image. What is needed is a healthy mix of consuming desirable foods and exercise.
