My husband and I are attending a "black tie event" where he is wearing a tuxedo and I'm wearing a floor length evening gown with spaghetti straps with a slit up the back. My question is on shoes & hosiery. Its winter time and there could be snow on the ground, should I wear hose and pumps? If so, what color hose? The dress is sequence mainly black with silver shimmers running through it. Or should I not wear hose, and go with more of an open toed shoe, like a sandal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
